The children have worked very hard on the first day to ensure that some of the crops are in the ground and can have the long growing season that they need. The produce is not in the best soil but we shall see how it goes!
We will be using the crops throughout the growing to take photos and create a resource for teaching especially in Science.
Our next step is to put a few more onion types in, we should also be receiving a potato pack from the Potato Council which is a competition to see which school can grow the most potatoes.
The pathway still needs a little more work, shifting the pea shingle is not a light job, but it will be done before too long.
