At the start of this developing idea we asked parents, grandparents and friends of the pupils of Portway if they had anything spare for our club. Very kindly we were donated 8 strawberry plants which we have kept in our classroom throughout the autumn and winter. Even though it is not necessarily the best time to plant them out we have as it is starting to warm up. Hopefully we should get som strawberries later in the year.
Strawberries...Will they be ready before Wimbledon?
